Our chef’s journey began in the eastern state of Bihar in India, where his love for food and cooking was sparked. He spent over 20 years traveling across India and living in various parts of the country perfecting the art of traditional Indian cuisine and exploring the bold, diverse flavors from every corner of the country.

Our chef’s journey is reflected in the menu, which brings together diverse flavors like curries of North, Daal Baati from east, Undhiyu from west and Biryani from south all under one roof

For last 10+ years our chef has worked to deliver the Ottawa area with a unique culinary experience that has delighted tasters near and far.

After decades of honing his craft, our chef created Namaste Ottawa to share his wealth of experience with the Ottawa community, offering authentic, bold flavors and a culinary experience.

We want to bring bring the real flavors of India to Ottawa. Showcasing dishes from every corner of the country. From street food favorites to timeless regional classics. But authenticity shouldn’t come at a premium and that is our goal at Namaste Ottawa.

We ordered vegetarian dishes for a small gathering. The chef was very accommodating and offered helpful advice in selecting the dishes and the volume needed for the group. Everybody enjoyed the food.
